robotics worlds

We got to go to Louisville, Kentucky on Monday to watch my brother’s fifth graders compete in the Vex Robotics World Competition. As always, traveling with kids brings plenty of adventures, think 10p climbs out of the pack n play, 90 minutes to get dinner, and possibly getting splattered by vomit. The good news is the robotics competition and the parade of nations were fascinating!  The boys enjoyed watching and then also building while we were there. They were also excited to write about what had happened when we got back. So glad we got to go support my brother and his students!

We also got in some lessons on Thomas Jefferson, healthy eating, maths, missionary studies, geography, and copywork during the rest of the week.
