We had a fun wild+free adventure yesterday! We started our time together at a nature center we’ve never been to. It had more puppets than we could count; and the boys spent most of their time putting on an animal wrestling match show.
The nature center also had a living stream, complete with three different turtles, several fish, and crawdads.
Afterwards, we headed out to sled, but the snow was mostly gone. The grass was somewhat slippery, so we got in a few good trips down the hill. Then, we ventured out to the river and found it mostly frozen. The boys braved the ice, while Grace and I stood on land in case someone fell in (or because one of us was scared). Our favorite moments were seeing a bald eagle soar overhead and spotting several different kinds of tracks across the river!
We start our formal lessons back up next week. Happy New Year!
