name sculpture

This week’s art project was this fun name sculpture.  Because we had limited cardstock,  we did an initial sculpture instead. Here’s the process:

  • With pencil, draw large letters on cardstock
  • Cut each letter out (this proved to be a bit tricky for Judah, age 5).
  • Use permanent markers to decorate the letters with bright, bold colors.
  • Secure the letters on a square card stock, using white glue (we ended up folding parts to glue down. This may work better with a quick drying hot glue).
  • Display

Art is usually one of the boys’ favorite times of the week.
