Wednesdays have become our fine arts day with Music Together for Grace in the morning and art, composer study, and picture study for the boys afterwards. Today, we tried out chalk prints from this blog. The boys really enjoyed these and the finished products are super neat! Here’s how to do it:
- Fill a tub or 9×13 pan with water, enough to cover the bottom.
- Use a butter knife or plastic knife to scrape chalk into the water. Be careful not to bump the water or the chalk will sink.
- Gently place a white piece of paper on the top of the water and let it rest for several seconds.
- Pull the paper out and let dry.
- Rinse and repeat.
