school, week 28

We’re in the home stretch for this school year!  Both boys have been working so hard, and we decided to up the challenge a bit for our last quarter. Courben is now responsible for reading his own US History lessons and Judah has begun work on reading Level B books (the kind with multiple lines of print per page). They handled it with some courage and some frustration, which was to be expected.  I’m sure by the end of our year, they’ll both be more confident.
I’m looking forward to beginning some science experiments in the coming weeks to replace our study on health and the body. I’m also hoping next week’s weather will be a bit more conducive to a hike compared to the rainy, chilly kind we’ve had this week.
