Over the weekend, we had the privilege of spending time with some of our christian family in Pittsburgh. We gathered together for a time of worship, retreat, and storytelling. It was so great to spend time with people we’ve know for a while and meet new family members. On Saturday, we spent the afternoon with our host family exploring downtown Pitt. We went ice skating, walked the city, and got to ride up the incline and see the whole city.
It’s always great to be with like-minded people and hear from God in a different context. Even Courben had a “kairos” to pray for some of his friends who don’t know Jesus. At the end of the weekend, there was even a time in the service to light candles for those we’re praying come to follow Christ. I love seeing him begin hearing and obeying our Father at such a young age.
