In keeping with tradition, we decorated eggs with the boys last Sunday. We added a few other kiddos, just to ensure chaos. Everyone had lots of fun (inlcuding Nate, who snuck out just in time to get out of the tradition), and we colored 34 eggs. As you can tell by Judah’s hand, no method was untried. You can call him the “Incredible Hulk” for a few more days. I’m pretty sure I love this tradition more than the boys as of now (kinda like pumpkin carving), but that’s fine by me. One thing I would like to know though, why do we put vinegar into the hot, colored water? For all I know, it’s like the daughter who used to cut off both ends of the roast to fit it in the pan, only to find out her mother did it because it was the only size pan that fit in her oven. I’m hoping there’s a real reason for the vinegar!
