That’s right, that’s a mussel shell in Courben’s hand.  He cleaned out five of them when we were at Buca Di Beppo with our Soma family this Sunday (along with shrimp scampi and fried calamari).  At one point, he looked down at the tiny squid legs and said, “is this a baby octopus?”  Pretty close!  I thought that would have made him promptly lose his appetite for all things fishy, but nope!  I knew we were soul mates!  I see many mommy-son seafood dates in our future since Nate despises anything that even thought about living in the water and Judah hasn’t quite decided what he does and doesn’t like.
