This is how it all went down:

“Mommy, can you help me open this?”

“No, not right now.”

Thinks to himself, “Fine, I’ll take matters into my own hands,” and gets the can opener out of the drawer.

Too bad he didn’t know it was the kind of can that has the pull-off top already.
