pick, pick, pick a fat pumpkin

What a beautiful fall day for a father-son outing.  Courben and Daddy went to the pumpkin patch with our neighbors.  It was quite the adventure to include sliding down slides into a straw piles, climbing straw bales, riding on a tractor, searching for pumpkins, navigating through a kid-size hay bale maze, feeding goats, and eating pumpkin pie.  He was Mr. Social, as usual, and even climbed up on someone’s lap on the hayride.  I must say, I’m a bit jealous I had to miss all the fun!  They came home dirty, sticky, and smelling like autumn.  Now to carve that fat “punkin”.
